Embark on a relaxing and stress-free visit to the Pedra de Lume salt flats in the company of a fun guide and have the opportunity to float in the salt flats.

Itinerário

We will organize a transfer from your hotel at 10 a.m. and head towards Pdera de Lume. Along the way you will visit Murdeira and the town of Espargos. Then we'll head to the Salinas de Pdera de Lume, the oldest site on Sal Island, which was once an important salt trading center. After taking a stroll around this place, we'll visit its famous salt pans, one of the main tourist attractions in the region. The salt pans are located inside the crater of an inactive volcano. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery and be able to float in the salt pans. Your guide will also explain the history of the site, which was founded in 1804. After 1 hour we will return to Santa Maria for your accommodation.
