You start at pico da Cruz among the bushes of the Eastern Plateau forest, and as you descend you can see the village of Santa Isabel. It’s a small rural town where the majority of the population lives off cattle breeding and agriculture. After passing this village, the descent continues through coffee plantations and small towns until you reach the bottom of the valley. Here you take a shortcut between the plantations until you reach the road and then walk towards the village of Pombas.
