It has the nostalgic charm of places that time has overcome and put to sleep. This is where the history of Boa Vista began in the 1600s. Going down to the coast you’ll find a line of beautiful beaches, such as Santa Mónica – considered one of the best beaches in Cape Verde – and Curralinho, and, further south, Lacação and Curral Velho. Access to these two beaches is difficult and we recommend taking a 4×4 jeep.
