Full description

Visit Espargos, what is the capital of the island of Sal. This visit is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture of our part of the world, in our way of life, in what is our identity, and it's also the right time to be charmed by our people. The tour unfolds as follows: we pick you up from your hotel, what may be located in Santa Maria, Espargos. Our first stop, before arriving in Espargos, is the Amílcar Cabral International Airport. During our visit, we'll explain the importance of this infrastructure for the island's economy and for the country today.
The next step is to visit Espargos, the historic centre of the municipality. We will go to Espargos because the parish of São Pedro and the town of Espargos contain most of the municipality's population, as well as most of its social and economic infrastructure. In the streets of Espargos, in its public spaces, we will have the opportunity to admire the different artistic expressions of its people, such as the amusing (and sometimes provocative, beautiful and even scandalous) street art that we find on the city's walls, most of which (but not all) behave like walls by virtue of the city's poverty line, like the walls that once protected the poverty line in any city in the world.
The next stage of our tour takes us to the suburbs, where we can experience the morabeza (Cape Verdean hospitality) and the tranquillity of the locals' daily lives.Next, you’ll head to Shark Bay on the east coast of Sal, where your lemon shark experience will begin. You’ll enter the water with an experienced guide who will lead you step by step and teach you all about this incredible species. You’ll see their fins cutting through the surface of the water and get to know these sharks more closely than you could ever imagine. After spending some time observing the sharks and learning all about them, your guide will escort you back to your hotel.
