Full description

The first stop is in Rabil, the where you can dive in local craftsmanship in the School of Pottery, where new generations try to keep alive some of the local tradition of molding clay. One of the few workshops where you can still find only authentic art of Boavista. From collecting the raw material to the molding and baking all can be experience here firsthand. Our next stop is in Bofareira, a very small village with less than 200 inhabitants where you can experience some of the way of life for the locals but also a chance to do some shopping for local products and souvenirs. The settlers came to this place guided by their own Goat herds.
Visitors are always welcome to the local Kindergarten, but also the Elementary school if they are having a break.
Craving some Pure and undisturbed Nature, just as it should be?? The Viana desert (Deserto de Viana) is an extension in miniature of the famous Sahara desert, but
now on an island in the middle of the Atlantic. Abeautiful landscape which is worth a visit, plus it changes continuously over time, stretches, widens, and every time the landscape offers different beauties. Here we get to taste also Local products and if you are fit enough be introduced to Sandboarding. Just make sure to follow the safety rules and you will be fine. Staying long enough into the late afternoon to experience a magnificent sunset. Afterwards, it proceeds towards the North Coast, in order to admire of what remains an old Shipwreck of Cabo Santa Maria, a Spanish cargo ship stranded there in 1968, that brought new hopes to the island inhabitants in hard times.
