At Ribeira de Torre you can see ancient pine trees, often half hidden in the mist. Together with the sounds of birds, this spot gives a special, mysterious feeling. The walk starts at Faj\u00e3 da Cima, also called \u00c1gua das Caldeiras, at an altitude of 1,470 meters. You walk along a path with agricultural terraces and small cultivated houses and you&#8217;ll find small paths along the way that seem to disappear between the rocks. Passing through the hills you reach the Ribeira de Torre. During the descent to Ribeira Grande you&#8217;ll come across several banana and coffee plantations.
