Visit the center of Mindelo, in Cape Verde, and immerse yourself in the local culture, as well as in the history of one of its most important figures: Cesária Évora, the “barefoot diva”. Visit the Mindelo Cultural Center, what gave rise to the magnificent singer’s career and where her first album was recorded and finish the tour in São Pedro to snorkeling with tartle.

We'll meet you in the lobby of your hotel or just outside the port of Mindelo and take you on a tour of the city center. Depending on the day of the week, you'll visit local attractions such as the cultural center, where art and culture exhibitions are held. There, you will learn about the history of Cesária Évora, the famous singer from Cape Verde. After this stop, we'll go to the traditional market and then to a traditional music workshop. At this last stop, you will have the opportunity to see and even play the typical instruments of Cape Verdean music, such as the pandeiro, the rabeca, the drum and others.To finish our tour we'll head to Sao Pedro where we'll go sea turtle watching. You can swim with the turtles or simply stay on the boat to watch them.
