Rui Vaz is one of the coolest areas on the island, where you can stroll along forest paths and feel the mountain breeze. There is a small guesthouse in the town. At the top of Rui Vaz is Monte Tchota, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the whole island of Santiago.
