This is many people’s favorite walk. Because of the breathtaking views and frequent photo opportunities, you’re probably on the road for a little longer. The hike starts in an ancient crater at an altitude of 1,100 meters. When you emerge from the crater on the other side, you have a sight you’ll never forget: standing on the edge of the crater, you look out over Paul’s imposing green valley that lies in the depths before you. You can even see the sea 10 kilometers away. The walk zigzags along a stone path for a few hours. At every turn, you start to feel yourself again. The views are brilliant. During the descent, you’ll see unusual plants, but also sugar cane plantations and banana and manioc trees, which you’ll find in greater abundance.
