This is the main center of the traditional feast of San Felipe, which animates the town for a week. The House of Flags celebrates the island and gathers some of the remains of those involved in the flag festivities on 1 May. People usually come from all over to celebrate.

For a week, the corn pillar and parades in honor of the patron saint are the main activities. Horse races are also a highlight of the festivities. At the end of the festival there is a procession and a traditional dinner for the guests.
