sodadetour, doing business as “sodadetour” or “sodadetour Adventure” (also referred to below as “we”, “us” and “our”), operates www.sodadetour.com (a “website”, “site”, “platform”) for you to book adventure holidays with local guides (“Service”).

We often refer to local guides, tour operators, travel companies or other third parties who deliver your holiday plans as “Hosts” or “Suppliers”.

The terms tour, holiday, holiday organization or adventure refer to the “Trips” carried out by a Supplier and usually cover accommodation, in-country transport, activities and other services listed on a Sodadetour Trip page, we search for the best local adventure guides and choose exclusive multi-day trips to promote. By booking through our platform, travelers can get off the beaten track and immerse themselves in incredible experiences with local guides.

The terms “you”, “your”, “client” and “guest” denote all the individuals listed on a booking. When confirming a booking, the first person named in the booking confirms, on behalf of everyone included in the booking, that:

Why join the Sodadetour affiliate programme?

Your booking becomes final when we provide you with a confirmation email after you have finalized your purchase on our website. Unless explicitly stated in these Booking Terms, our responsibility is limited to the role of booking agent. We accept no responsibility for the acts or omissions of a Supplier.

Any dealings between you and any Supplier found on or through our Site, including the delivery of a Trip, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and the relevant Supplier, and are made at your own risk.

Steps to join

2.   Fill in the sodadetour network registration form.

To book a trip on our website you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit or, in the case of a trip departing less than 2 months from the date of booking, you will need to pay in full. When you book with us, we will provide you with a secure online checkout that allows payment by credit or debit card. We will make the Suppliers’ terms and conditions available to you and details of any financial protection offered to you. We will also send you an e-mail confirming your booking.

If you have paid a deposit, you must pay the balance in full by the balance due date notified to you (usually 2 months before the start date of the trip). If full payment is not received by the balance due date, we will cancel your booking and, if applicable, charge cancellation fees (as set out below).

Frequently asked questions

When are payments made?

Please note that deposits are always non-refundable. If you cancel two or more months early, we will return your deposit as a Sodadetour credit. This amount will appear in your account and can be used to deposit any future bookings. Sodadetour credits never expire.

How will I be paid?

We reserve the right to charge an additional 3% refund fee on any amount refunded.
